My quarter horse has chronic laminitis and in the past 6 years has done glue on shoes, other boots, and regular shoes. He had regular shoes on for about a year and a half when the vet took x-rays and took a look at him. He does not show when he is in pain so we had no idea that he had 0mm of sole. He had to have casted on clogs month after month until he could do anything more than stall rest. Regular shoes would not be an option. After about 6 months with casted clogs, our vet recommended scoot boots. We had tried many other types of boots and they all seemed to not fit his wide-fat feet. Macy took good care to ensure they would be a perfect fit. Adding straps and neoprene on the heel cover (customizing with everything already included with the boot purchase) they were great! We have been using these for almost an entire year and they are still in great condition. He wears them every day and with regular trims he is sound and doing amazingly! 1000% tell anyone that Macy fit them perfectly and the quality is so great!
